Below you will find my pricing, client expectations, scheduling, and deposit information

Scheduling

I require an in-person consult before scheduling clients. Consults are conducted at the shop. After we have done your consultation, I will collect the necessary deposits for your appointment(s) and we will get you scheduled.

Submissions for tattoos can be placed at any time. I open my books for scheduling every 3 months. You can submit your ideas using the booking form on my website. I do not give quotes or discuss designs if you have not submitted your ideas.

Any submissions received when books are closed will be placed on my waitlist. I personally review the subject matter of each submission. If I feel that I am a good match for the subject and style of tattoo you want, your idea will be approved and placed on my consultation waitlist.

I am fortunate enough to receive more tattoo submissions than I have room/time to book. Because of this luxury, not all tattoo submissions will be booked. If your tattoo submission is declined, please be understanding of the fact that I am an artist in pursuit of subject matter that compliments my abilities and motivation. Feel free to reach out with any questions.

All communication regarding scheduling will be done through my booking manager via the email batemansstudio@gmail.com. I do not schedule appointments nor collect deposits via Instagram or any other platform. Please be aware of scam artists. I will never ask for a deposit without personally meeting you first.

Once your appointment(s) have been scheduled, please make sure you have reminders set so you don’t forget your appointment!

Pricing

My Pricing is session based

Half Day : 0-4 Hours      $700

Full Day : 4-8 Hours      $1200

Deposits

I require a $100 deposit for each scheduled appointment you have with me. Your deposit goes 100% toward the cost of your tattoo session. Deposits are collected at our consultation and can be paid using cash *preferred, Venmo, or AFCU transfer.

Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Failure to abide by my client policy will result in forfeiture of deposit(s).

Client Policies 

Show up on time. Not too late not too early.

Failure to show up to consultations or appointments on time will result in forfeiture of appointments and/or deposits.

If you are more than 10 minutes late to your consultation, you will need to reschedule. If you no-call no-show your consultation, you will not be re-scheduled. If you no-call no-show your tattoo appointment or are more than 15 minutes late without notice, you will forfeit your deposit and possibly require rescheduling.

Leave the kids at home. Garden Gate Tattoo & Art Collective is exclusively an 18+ establishment. This includes consultations. No exceptions.

Please come to your appointments alone. Most of my sessions are 4+ hrs which is a long time to ask your spouse or friend to sit with you. I feel that I do my best work when I can focus on my client’s needs and not the needs of their entourage.

Prepare yourself to get tattooed. Make sure you show up properly rested, showered, and wearing clothing that is comfortable and allows the tattooed area to be reached easily.

Eat a good meal before you come and feel free to bring snacks to keep you happy throughout your appointment.

Bring stuff to entertain you while you get tattooed. We listen to a wide variety of music at the shop and I’m happy to chat with you while you get inked, but having headphones, a good book, or your iPad can sometimes make the time go by a bit faster.

If you bring pillows or blankets from home, they must be clean. I cannot tattoo you if your blanket is covered in pet hair. We also have pillows and blankets for clients at the shop.

If the area you’re getting tattooed is really hairy, please trim the hairs so we don’t have to spend half of your appointment shaving.
