Bailey Bateman is a Utah-based artist with a lifelong passion for creating. In 2014, she started her art brand “Bateman’s Studio” and started creating, displaying, and selling art professionally.

Bailey studied and minored in art at the University of Utah. After graduating, she became a Jr. High Art teacher teaching subjects ranging from ceramics and painting, to 3-D Design and advanced art courses.

After teaching for 3 years, she made a polarizing career move and decided to become a tattoo artist. Bailey now works full-time as a tattooer while teaching monthly entry-level painting classes to students of all ages. In her spare time, Bailey enjoys creating artwork ranging in style from realism to illustrative “new school.”

Some of Bailey’s favorite mediums to work with are charcoal, colored pencil with alcohol-based inks, and ballpoint pen. She specializes in creating hyper-realistic portraits, and vivid works of colorful illustrative characters. Her favorite subjects to capture are musicians, lady faces, florals, and all things spooky.

Bailey currently works and resides in Northern Utah. She co-owns and operates Garden Gate Tattoo & Art Collective. She also displays her work at Fallen Heroes Tattoo & Art Gallery in Colorado Springs.
